Why does god only get credit for miracles?
Like some enlightened youtube personalities, I have come to realize that when fortunate things happen is God given the credit. When a plane crashes and everyone dies no one says "Oh it's a MIRACLE!" but when a person is cured of cancer they say "Oh, praise the Lord, it's a MIRACLE!" I feel we must give credit where credit is due so we must incorporate the word TRAGICLE whenever something bad happens, just to give God the due credit. Now, when the plane crashes and everyone dies, we are equipped with an able vocabulary. "Thank God! It's a TRAGICLE!"

- God goes not have a credit rating.
- well, "religious" people think that everything good came from God and can be attributed as a miracle, if bad things happen they blame themselves and say "why does God always have to take the blame -poor man". Honestly i don't think they know the answer so it means they are not smart enough to suspect that he isn't real
- You are right. I had the same question in my head. Christians always say "God will look after you". Noone blame the god when terrible things happen. As Buddhists we believe in Karma."What goes around comes around". We have done good and bad karma in our past lives.Thats why people are born in rich or poor, weak and strong and so on. Some kind people suffer from various problems in this live because of thier past Karmas whereas bad people spend happy lives because they have done good karmas in previous lives. Our present actions will deermine our next lives as well.We dont blame anyone for our problems because they occur due to our past karma. Therefore, we need to be good and avoid bad karmas in order to have a good life in next lives.
