Does anyone know who Suze Orman is? Do you know why she has an ad here for her "best answers?
I cannot understand why someone would advertise their best answers on Yahoo!Questions. Does it really matter to anyone? Do you visit her site? Please, serious answers; I am not interested in attacking her or anyone else!!

- She had a TV show or something--a really bad one too, and I guess Yahoo thinks we care what she thinks more than Al Gore.
- Some old celebrity that I'm too young to remember.
- Suze Orman is a woman who provides financial advice to people who call inot and write to her TV show.
- She is a "famous" financial advisor. She has a program of her own on television and she has been on numerous talk shows, including Oprah. Her advice can actually be pretty helpful.
- Suze Orman is a financial advisor with her own show on television.
- Suze is the author of five consecutive New York Times bestsellers, The Laws of Money, The Lessons of Life (more than 600,000 hardback copies in print); The Road to Wealth (more than 650,000 hardback copies in print); The Courage to Be Rich (more than one million hardback copies in print); and The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom (more than 2.9 million in print); and the national bestsellers, Suze Orman’s Financial Guidebook (more than 180,000 in print) and You’ve Earned It, Don’t Lose It (more than 700,000 in print) and the Ask Suze Library System ( more than 500,000 9 volume sets in print). Suze’s new book The Money Book for the Young Fabulous & Broke aimed squarely at generation debt and their anxious parents launched March 3, 2005 with 440,000 in print and hit the New York Times bestseller list in it first full week on sale.
- She is a financial advisor.
- She's written best selling books on financial advice, been on TV shows, has a radio show, and is basically the most popular financial advisor in the country. Why she is involved with Yahoo answers is probably for the same reason that Stephen Hawking is. It's Yahoo marketing strategy to get more people using Yahoo Answers. Hawking has about a bazillion answers now. The strategy works.
- I have to say that the hamster has been extremely annoying. It's been telling me (and everyone) to check out the best answer for over a week. I can't get it to shut up...I thought maybe if I clicked it, it would go away, but I was wrong. Now, the really funny thing is the # of "questions" she has generated because so many people are annoyed by it. I guess they say, "No publicity is bad publicity." Ironic. Oh, and regarding who she is...she's a finance guru with her own TV show. (see link below). She participated in the "Ask the Planet" campaign. Honestly, if they were going to point to answers like this, first of all, they should point to the better known celebrity participants (e.g. Bono, Al Gore, Donald Trump) and they should alternate them. Oh...and, the occasional picture of the blonde that says to check it out is actually a picture of Suze Orman. (or you can see her picture on website below)
- i remember seeing her on CNBC giving advice to countless people who have big credit card debts.
- I think she wants everyone to see how lame she is. No, seriously, it's as everyone else said: her question attracted a lot of attention because she's "famous" or something. I don't know who the heck she is, but oh well.
- Don't believe the others. Suzie Orman is some kind of hybred rodent like the ones from the movie,Secret of Nimh. She burrows into the yahoo dens and infiltrates our answers overriding the true favorite answers with her own. I have never 'been' to her den, but appreciate the fact that she has been industrious enough to breach our space and inflict her views upon others. I am not attacking her, because I myself think that is a dandy way to go and hope some day to hold up my own little sign that says Honorbrights favorite answers, too...right under hers.
