What do you guys think about Suze Orman as a Financial Advisor?

I was thinking of buying her book "The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous & Broke"

1. She's very gloom and doom.
2. I think she rocks. She puts that money crap in plain terms where everyone can understand. I think you should go buy her book.
3. I'm not sure about that one but her first one was really worth buying. yellow and white cover with her photograph on it.
4. She doesnt do or say anything new or out of the box, just another Financial Advisor, that got some breaks and is making a lot of money.
5. For the vast majority of people she provides some great common sense advice. Much of it can be gleaned from numerous other sources and some common sense. But she puts it all together in an easily digestible form. I'd recommend any book she writes if you don't have a financial plan in place that you a great deal of confidence in.
6. I think Suze is great because she doesn't offer anyone the hope that they are going to get rich quick by following her advice like some so called advisors do. She is actually pretty conservative and a strong advocate for saving and budgeting which is a big problem for most people. BTW - She also has a tv show.
