Kevin Trudeau claims a doctor was jailed for curing cancer?

Kevin Trudeau, author of Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About claims in his infomercial that curing cancer without chemotherapy is illegal and a doctor was jailed for doing so. This can not possibly true, can it? And even if it was, who would file the lawsuit? Obviously, not the patient. I know that he's a convicted felon and was in trouble for misleading customers and abusing their credit card information, resulting in a legal ruling that he can not make false claims in his infomercials. So, does this mean his claim about the doctor is not false?

Sounds complete garbage to me. I assume he has never provided a "source" for this information, to allow independent examination of court records, or produced the doctor.
Personaly, I belive their are cures out their for alot of things if they had a cure for cancer,aids, any of those diseases do you know how much money they would lose ,Tons it is better for them to keep you sick so that they can make the big bucks I know it sound crazy but think about it. I dont know if this docter had a cure or not but I think it is very possible.
I'm afraid anything can be true in this age and times, its so disheartning to find out about government cover ups and illegal operations and using us for test subjects. To find a cure for any disease would mean "no revenue". The American people are getting more savvy but unfortunately there's not much we can do about it. Even watching these events on tv that come out 30,40 years later, doesn't make us feel any better. That's the way the world was and that's the way it will always be. Because history repeats itself over and over and over.
In the early nineties 3 doctors opened up a clinic in Diamond Head Miss, they had taken in I believe 142 patients, many who had to be carried in to the clinic,ON STRECHERS within 6 months most had walked our on their own and some even had photos of them riding horses etc, the news media kept a close watch on this clinic and verified their results, they lost one patient and were sued, the gov, got involved and charged them with practicing medicine that had not been approved by the A,M,A, these Doctors were put in prison for 3 years, and the clinic closed, the Diamond Head news media stated these men deserved medals yet were sent to prison. YOU DECIDE
I don't know about the doctor... But as for Kevin T...is he any different from the medical/drug companies. Is he not selling his book for a profit... Think so!! If he wanted to help people open a website and give it away for free!! Most of Kevin T information is not based on any true testing!! As for the doctor if he broke laws well I suppose you go to jail. I am certain there was a trial where 12 people found him guilty!!

It is not illegal not to use chemotherapy, it is illegal to practice medicine without a license, you can not have a patient, or treat them, or cure them if you are not a doctor. You can teach, you can advise, you can educate and the such, but if you treat someone and are not a medical professional licesensed to do so you have broke the law.
if you claim to be a doctor without being licensed, you are breaking the law. you can treat people without a license, as long as they agree to the treatment, but to impersonate a doctor, and give false belief that you can save a person's life isn't very ethical if you are not a medical doctor. you can't run a practice and operate as a physician without a license, but you can always offer healtful advice. there is no law against that.
